Each tomb is unique in design, though they may appear similar at first glance. “No two tombs are exactly the same. That uniqueness is what makes this site architecturally significant,” the director said.
The final resting place of the sixth ruler of the Qutb Shahi dynasty of the Deccan is among the most beautiful tombs and has an estimated 2 lakh handmade tiles of various colours, apart from complex stucco work.
